Leon Harris' Fox and Hound Chase-February 13, 2010
In celebration of Valentine’s Day and the Chinese New Year – Year of the Tiger, Leon invites you to the endless fox and hound chase - no date is required for this party. A night of dancing salsa, tango, swing, and other Latin dances (6 pm – 11 pm). Chinese legend pegs Year of the Tiger as a time of strength, determination, and persistence – all the qualities for a good chase. Wear something red (Asian if you have it) to ward off evil spirits. Bring something to eat or drink to supplement our Chinese appetizers and exotic teas. The reception from 6 pm – 7:30 pm is also a good time to coordinate our plan to attend the Chinese Parade on Sunday. Use Metro Mt Vernon/Convention Center on the yellow/green line or the 96 Metrobus.
